[email protected] Posting Number 20161574STD Job Description An Administrative Specialist, Scheduler is a student staff member who is responsible for supporting the operations of the Charles J. Ping Recreation Center. The primary responsibility of the this staff members is to work with the Ping Coordinator and Assistant Director of Charles J. Ping Recreation Center to create, modify, and publish the Ping Center student staff schedule. Outlined below are the specific roles and responsibilities that are expected of all student staff in this position Roles and Responsibilities: •Create schedule for Ping MSA and Supervisor positions using scheduling software •Manage time off requests and ensure schedule is filled at all times •Oversee semester, weekend, and break scheduling •Be the first point of contact if student staff have a scheduling conflict •Be available via email and GroupMe for student communication and respond in a timely manner •Update When to Work with current staff roster •Work within the smaller team of the student staff in the Administrative Suite to support Ping Operations •Communicate regularly with Ping staff in regard to schedule, time off requests, and emergency coverage •Track student staff roster •Schedule and hold office hours within Ping Recreation Center •Attend all required trainings and meetings for Ping and University Well-Being & Recreation Department •Complete all trainings necessary for employment •Other duties as assigned to support Ping Operations Actively contributes as a student staff member of the Department and Division that upholds the framework of equity and social justice.
