Pipe Fitter/WelderLocation: East Elmhurst, NY Experience: +5 yearsSalary: Minimum: $35Maximum: $45Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling piping systems, as well as performing welding tasks in a shop setting. If you have a strong background in pipe fitting and welding and are committed to quality and safety, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Knowledge of reading and interpreting blue-prints and drawings.Measure and cut piping materials to specifications.Fabrication and assembly of welded spool piecesWelding experience on STIG/MIG/TIG.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.Collaborate with Branch/Shop Manager to ensure timely project completion.Troubleshoot and resolve piping and welding issues as they arise.Document work performed and maintained accurate records of materials and time spent.Requirements:Five 5 + years experience working as a Pipefitter /welder.AWS certified WelderDOB CardKnowledge of Hydraulic Cutter, Threading and Grooving (300 & 700 Machine)Knowledge of utility (ConEd and National Grid) procedures is a plusElectrical experience is a plus.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.Proven experience as a pipefitter and welder, with a minimum of 5 plus years in the field.Proficient in various welding techniques and pipe fitting methods.Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds).Capability to work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending.Join Us.PrideStaff Company OverviewExpand your skills.
