You will gain vast construction experience and have opportunities to grow within the company.Kubricky Construction Corp. pays prevailing wage rates and provides excellent benefits including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance and a Company Funded Pension Plan.Essential functions of the position:Perform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as back up spotting and hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocolJob functions will include but are not limited to:Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealingCheck slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasersConnect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement or glueCover pipes with earth or other materialsCut pipe to required lengthsDig trenches to desired or required depths by hand or using trenching toolsGrade and level trench bases, using equipment and hand toolsInstall and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systemsLay out pipe routes following written instructions or blueprints and coordinating layouts with Forepersons and supervisorsAttention to safety rules and regulations is a mustQualifications:A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree years of pipe laying experienceMust have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to report to work on timeMust be willing to travel to jobsites in possible remote locationsMust have reliable and punctual attendanceMust be able to pass pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)Current OSHA 10 card holders preferredExperience safely and efficiently operating equipment on site including bulldozers, excavators, loaders and gradersAbility to orally communicate with all workers and representatives on job siteBase salary range:Pipe Layer$41,600-$87,500Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and we provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status, or genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
