Job DescriptionOur client, leaders in the design and fabrication of surface equipment for the oil and gas industry, asked for our help to recruit and hire a skilled Pipe Welder in Houston, Texas!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Mig Stick and Tig Welding will be given a 6 g welding test.Proficient in assigned welding techniques.Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including the ability to read weld symbols.Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materialsWorking knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Conventional and precision measuring instrumentsProcess inspection, certification, and documentationWelding equipment maintenance and inspectionFinish grinding applications using manual and power toolsSafety and HousekeepingOther duties as assigned by the area supervisor.
