Pipelayer - Wollam Construction : Job Details

Wollam Construction in Utah is now hiring a skilled Pipelayer. Our Pipelayers lay and install the pipes, process pipes, and underground pipes for commercial, civil, and heavy industrial construction projects in Utah & areas nearby. Job Requirements

* Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs of material & equipment

* Frequent walking stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing

* Frequent use of power & hand tools

* 1-2 years minimum pipe installation experience preferred

Responsibilities

* Ability to lay all types of pipe for fire, water, sewer, and storm drain

* Set shoring in accordance with OSHA safe practices

* Install services, fire hydrants, pipe connections

* Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing

* Check slopes for conformance to requirements

* Connect Pipe pieces

* Dig trenches to desired depths

* Cover pipes with earth or other materials
