Pizza Maker/Event Organizer - Marra Forni : Job Details

Marra Forni is looking for a skilled pizza maker to join our team. In addition to making pizzas, this person will be expected to support the company's culinary programs and projects. This will often include helping during off-site events, providing customers with exceptional service, preparing pizza toppings, sauces, and dough. This role will also help maintain the inventory and unload deliveries as needed.ResponsibilitiesWell versed in pizza dough & dough chemistry, with extensive experience in different styles of traditional pizzas.Cook pizzas that satisfy our customers' expectations.Monitor inventory and communicate with a supervisor when stock and supplies are running low.Package pizzas neatly when they come out of the oven.Follow all relevant food health and safety requirements.Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.Check quality of pizzas before they're served to guests.Collaborate with staff on menu items.Resolve customer complaints with diplomacy.Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.Assist with ordering supplies, maintain inventory, and create budgets to ensure profitable food costs.Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and venues.Plan event details and aspects, including seating, dining, and guests.Create reliable financial reports and collect payments on time.Remain under budget with all costs.Manage events and address potential problems that may arise.Plan for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event.Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events.RequirementsFlexibility to travel.Strong time management skills.Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
