, is seeking a PKI Administrator with a TS/SCI Clearance to support
KDS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a PKI Administrator with at least 8 years of expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting PKI environments in a Windows domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of deploying internal certificate authorities, issuing external certificates from external authorities, and installing certificates on systems. Additionally, they should possess advanced skills in building and maintaining certificate authority databases and implementing smart card authentication systems across the agency.
Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: - Designing and deploying PKI environments within a Windows domain
- Deploying internal certificate authorities
- Issuing external certificates from external authorities
- Installing certificates on systems
- Maintaining certificate authority databases
- Supporting the use of smart cards for system authentication across the agency
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting PKI environments
- Strong experience in administering Microsoft PKI solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Proven project lead experience in successful enterprise solution deployments
- Ability to create technical documents and engineering diagrams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Expert-level understanding of Public Key Infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with smart card authentication systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Desired Skills and Competencies: - Familiarity with working in a federal government IT environment
- Knowledge of single sign-on concepts like SAML and OAuth2
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
