- Conduct in-depth analysis of client exposure and insurance coverage, ensuring all quotes, proposals and contracts comply with requirements and meet insurance objectives.
- Negotiate property and casualty insurance terms and conditions with underwriters to secure favorable agreements for clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring smooth operations and collaboration within the branch.
- Collaborate with Sales Executives and team members to gather necessary information, prepare marketing submissions, and arrange underwriting meetings.
- Facilitate ordering of loss-control and claim reports while coordinating associated processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Arrange necessary fee agreements and manage documentation, including preparing and delivering binders, vehicle identification cards and written correspondence.
- Draft and deliver detailed reports, correspondence and analyses to support client objectives and internal team needs.
- Skilled in managing sophisticated risk management accounts and utilizing non-standard insurance techniques, with extensive knowledge of carriers and industry-standard coverage forms.
- Proficient in negotiation, problem-solving and demonstrated project management abilities to address complex client needs effectively.
- Strong communicator across all levels and mediums, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with agency management systems.
- Over 8 years of insurance industry experience, including account management, with a resident state agent license and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Highly dependable with a strong work ethic, proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to timely follow-up and team collaboration.
- Open to occasional travel to client/prospect sites, branch offices, seminars, and training sessions for continued professional growth and client engagement.
This job requires a presence in-office (Knoxville, Tennessee) on a hybrid schedule, as agreed upon with the manager.
