Planner, Mens - Tommy Hilfiger

The Planner will be an active partner in handling the OTB aspect of the business preparing forecasts and evaluating performance for company stores and e-commerce in an Omni environment. Protect TH interests while enhancing profitability and minimizing liabilities. Build Pre-Season business plans in accordance with the divisional and company goals, including short term/long term planning by style/color to support capacity requirements and business strategies. In addition, the Planner will assure timely and accurate communication of weekly, monthly, and adjusted seasonal forecasts.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and Present OTB forecasts at monthly business meetings that include information and critical initiatives to upper management; build business plans on a departmental level; own item plans at the core and key program level

* Analyze and prepare hindsight documents to measure past performance to advise future planning & buys

* Analyze & communicate by sales/stock performance by door group/promotional tier

* Handle the pricing and promotion execution in the IP and Salesforce Systems

* Secure financial documents and reconcile monthly on order/receipt flow

* Partner with Merchandising to formulate pre-season sales/GM/Inventory Flow Objectives that tie to the topline benchmark metrics and present strategies to upper management.

* Partner with Merchandising to build sku plans and buys in worksheets that tie to topline metrics

* Meet with cross-functional teams to manage the day-to-day business and make recommendations from a pricing/ promotion and inventory/sales/GM perspective as well as inventory strategies to improve the business.

* Review data outside of scope of immediate duties to understand the bigger picture

* Work on divisional/corporate projects as necessary

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

* 4+ years of Merchandise Planning experience, preferably in a 100% vertical retail setting (demand side driven)

* JDA Demand knowledge a plus

* Omni experience a plus

* Retail math background

* Analytical skills

* Organizational and communication skills

* Has high attention to detail & able to multitask/reprioritize in a fast paced environment

* Demonstrates flexibility and eagerness to learn and grow in a position that will continue to evolve

* Ability to work cross functionally as well as with upper management

* Computer Proficiency: Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP, MicroStrategy, IP; JDA experience, a plus

* Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and budgets

* Creative thinker and effective collaborator with their departmental team

* The Planner must be able to partner and collaborate at all levels with multiple areas of the company. Be able to influence others based on the analysis and forecasting

* Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency

* Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment

Pay Range:

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements.
