Job Description:
An Aerospace Manufacturing Company located in Sumner, WA is currently hiring for an Aerospace Planner & Scheduler.
Position - Planner & Scheduler
Pay - $32/hr. - $35/hr. (depending on overall qualification and tenure following requirements below)
Location - Sumner, WA
Schedule - 4x10s (Monday - Thursday; Friday Off) Standard Morning Shift
Contract Duration - 6 Months Contract-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
+ Plan the sequence of manufacturing operations from raw material to finished product.
+ Review customer requirements to ensure the product conforms.
+ Review applicable drawings and specifications.
+ Ensure materials and services are sourced from approved suppliers.
+ Utilize the ERP/MRP system to create manufacturing work orders.
+ Utilize First Article Inspection (FAI) software to prepare FAI for first-run products.
+ Revise and/or split existing manufacturing work orders as necessary.
+ Review and approve manufacturing work orders created by others.
+ Ensure compliance with AS9102 standards for first article inspection.
+ Collaborate with the quality inspection team to ensure all production plans meet the necessary quality standards.
+ Plan and document new parts and processes as new work comes in.
+ Maintain and update production plans as needed, especially when new or changed work is introduced.
+ Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) created by others.
+ Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, finish processes, and appropriate sequence of operations.
+ Knowledge of aerospace assembly techniques and requirements (fasteners, sealant, etc.).
+ Knowledge of testing requirements such as NDT, hardness, and eddy current.
+ Blueprint interpretation and CAD/ENOVIA experience.
+ Knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements.
Must Haves (Non-negotiables):
***This position requires an understanding of reporting in FAI (First Article Inspection) and AS9102 (non-negotiable)***
***This position requires Aerospace industry experience (non-negotiable)***
***This position requires Planning and Scheduling experience (non-negotiable)***
+ 3+ years of experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry, particularly with sheet metals.
+ (Please Emphasize on Resume) Strong understanding of AS9102 standards and First Article Inspection requirements.
+ Must have the ability to read Aerospace Blueprints.
+ In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP software.
+ Quality inspection experience within the aerospace sector.
+ Ability to develop and review detailed production plans.
+ Knowledge of the steps required to produce aerospace parts.
+ Stable work history with minimal job hopping.
+ Knowledge of aerospace specifications and standards.
+ Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Proficient use of computer systems and software applications (ENOVIA, MS Office, Discus, Net-Inspect).

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
