Position Overview

The Planning & Entitlements Analyst will support the planning and entitlement processes for various real estate projects. This role involves managing project documentation, analyzing data, and assisting with the preparation of reports and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in urban planning, real estate, or a related field, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of zoning, permitting, and entitlement applications.
  • Manage and organize project files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Conduct research and analysis on zoning laws, land use regulations, and market conditions.
  • Create and maintain detailed project reports, tracking timelines, budgets, and milestones.
  • Support project managers and senior staff with data analysis, report generation, and presentation preparation.
  • Utilize software tools such as Excel, GIS, and project management platforms to analyze and present data.
  • Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any potential issues or delays.
  • Participate in meetings with municipal agencies and community groups as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Geography, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and report generation
  • Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, and other relevant planning software is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork
