Job Description :
Summary: Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary environment in Plant 1.Essential Duties:
  • Daily; Clean, Sanitize and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of all restrooms and the breakroom with all of its components.
  • Daily, Clean, Sanitize and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the breakroom and all of its components.
  • Pick-up trash and shredding in all Manufacturing offices on a daily basis.
  • Make sure the employee entrance way at Plant 1, is free of debris, and clean and tidy at all times inside and outside.
  • Pay attention to warehouse occupied by Plant 1, making sure all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
  • Keep area surrounding dock doors, occupied by Plant 1, inside and out clean, tidy and free of debris.
  • Keep area surrounding the dumpster clean, tidy and free of debris.
  • Vacuum carpet and sweep/mop area in front of entrance to Plant 1 facilities, daily or as needed.
  • Pay close attention to the facility daily and as needed:
  • Cleaning around and under machines.
  • Gather trash from facility daily.
  • Dumping scrap materials.
  • Blow out all unused machines once a week.
  • Always be observant as to what needs to be cleaned in the facility to look as nice as possible.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and make sure to let Secretary know when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Maintain a weekly communication with the Administrative Assistant, in regards to cleanliness of plant or concerns.
  • Follow Supervisor's instructions.
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and if required lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Forklift operating when needed.
  • All other duties deemed necessary.
  • Additional hours if needed are mandatory.

  • Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department, i.e. overtime, alternating lunch and break schedules when needed.

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: NonePhysical Demands: Repetitive motion; lifting, bending, twisting and turning are required.
