This role will also provide administrative support by handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of administrative experience. Prior success as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent position with manufacturing environment experience is a plus.What You'll Do:
- Preparing reports, memos, letters and other documents as needed
- Performing general office duties such as ordering supplies
- Maintaining records management database systems and retention
- Update records of continuous improvement report
- Inventory sub ledger and general ledge variance report responsibility
- Transforming raw data into reports
- Production entry
- Invoicing
- Sending paperwork for received purchase orders to the accounts payable department for payment processing
- Entering data for Environmental, Health & Safety related activities (reporting injuries, conducting safety meetings, distributing Monthly Safety topics, month end reporting etc.)
- Assist human resources with new hire orientations
- Miscellaneous Duties:
- Answering phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages
- Analyzing incoming mail, memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
- Performing other related duties and projects as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
- Associates Degree with a Business Administration focus preferred; or 2-3 years administrative experience in a manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Able to complete multiple projects on time and with minimal supervision, which often serve several people and contain conflicting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization

- Create and update reports, materials and documentation.
