About the Role:

The Plant Controller is the financial business partner for leadership at the facility. This individual plays a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the successful execution of our plant's strategy. This requires a forward-thinking individual with a strong financial background and a keen ability to adapt to change. The Plant Controller will work closely with plant management and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, drive cost control, and support strategic initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop, manage, and analyze plant financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

Provide accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making and track performance against transformation goals.

Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results, identifying opportunities.

Monitor and control plant costs, including production, labor, and overhead expenses.

Implement and oversee cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.

Conduct detailed cost analysis and recommend strategies for cost optimization.

Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting efforts.

Collaborate with leaders to set financial targets and ensure alignment with objectives.

Evaluate financial performance and provide insights to support strategic planning.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

Address any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

Act as a financial partner in the plant's operational initiatives, providing financial analysis and support for new projects and process changes.

Facilitate communication between finance and other departments to ensure smooth implementation of transformation plans.

Monitor and report on the financial impact of transformation efforts.

Other duties as assigned by management.

We would love to hear from you if:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).

Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial management role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting processes.

Experience in managing financial aspects of significant organizational changes or transformations.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
