Job DetailsAs a key member of the plant leadership team, the Plant Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring successful plant operations. You will provide financial leadership to the local team by delivering accurate information and applying business insights to make decisions that will impact the overall success and profitability of the plant.Responsibilities:

• Lead within the plant and collaborate with the business.
• Direct plant accounting operations.
• Perform various month-end close and year-end duties, including audit support.
• Provide monthly variance analysis versus estimates, forecasts, budgets, and prior year data.
• Perform cost accounting duties (yields, product costing, labor standards) and translate impacts to the business.
• Understand internal customer requirements and provide necessary support.
• Partner and support the plant leadership team in:

- Business decision support. - Capex analysis and justification. - Cost control support. - Budgeting and forecasting. - Strategizing for continuous improvement initiatives. - Optimizing margins and minimizing costs.

• Proactively support the plant accounting team through cross-training and personal working knowledge of all positions.
• Develop personnel within the plant accounting team.
• Enforce financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain systems, reporting processes, controls, and ongoing financial modeling.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 10 or more years of related experience in manufacturing/production industries.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification is advantageous.
• Communication and collaboration across business segments.
• Product knowledge.
• Process improvement experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
