You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: Provide input for daily & weekly planning of department schedule including operator assignments, equipment selection, or deviation from the plan. Provide leadership and overall seed quality expertise to plant activities. Assist Supervisor by ensuring your team follows all established plant procedures (Safety, Quality, HR, etc.). Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and routinely inspected. Delegate tasks and set deadlines. Participate in the team development providing hands on training to Plant Operators and providing input for disciplinary actions of his/her team members to the supervisor. Perform and act as Supervisor while in their absence. Active positive participation in company programs and initiatives. Maintain a clean and safe work environment; participate and may lead safety initiatives. Able to operate all machinery within assigned department as needed. Responsible for product quality assessments and adherence to product specifications. Maintain integrity and accuracy in data entry.To be considered, you will need: GED, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience. 2 years of HM.Clause experience, or 2 years of Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Suite Programs including Excel and Word Must have experience using WMS and ERP programs (JDE, RFGEN, SAP, etc.) Forklift certified; Chemical applicators certificate may be required or ability to obtain within 8 months of hire dateThe rewards of working here: You join an expert team of innovators and creators that collaborate with farmers around the world to sustainably enhance the taste and quality of healthy food.   • Competitive salary
    • This position's range is:
    • 3 years experience $24 - $28/hr
    • 5+ years experience $28 - $32/hr
Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures. As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
