ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for the overall management of all production functions at the facility. In addition, will be responsible to ensuring that all support function servicing the facility are coordinated.Responsible for ensuring that production practices are established and maintained which ensure that product quality conforms with company and regulatory standards.
  • Develops the annual operating budget for the facility in conjunction with the Vice President - Operations which focuses on maximizing production and product quality. Approves all appropriate expenses within scope of authority. Continually reviews the financial performance of the operation and takes corrective action, as appropriate.
  • Will develop and maintain effective channels of two-way communication with all levels of the organization but particularly with the Associates assigned to the building. Will continually communicate to the staff regarding important elements of operational performance and all pertinent Company policies.
  • Continually evaluates the scope and effectiveness of the facility operations. Will anticipate and recommend modifications to the facility, equipment, services or capability that will continue to ensure that the facilities operational capability aligns with production and sales requirements.
  • Actively manages all operational inputs which include but not necessarily limited to capital, labor, equipment and raw material to ensure that the facilities production capabilities are maximized. Will develop and employ key performance indicators (KPI's) to provide standard and consistent measurement systems to track performance. Will be responsible to prepare, maintain and report all required production metrics.
  • Will work closely with the functional leadership who support the operation to ensure that the necessary support and priority are afforded to the facility. This includes, but may not be limited to, warehousing & distribution operations, maintenance, quality assurance, safety, security and human resources.
  • Other duties as required.
  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    • Position requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate major, MBA strongly desired.
    • Must possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of manufacturing management experience in a consumer foods products company. Any combination of the educational and experience requirements is acceptable.
    • Strongly preferred is significant manufacturing experience in the frozen food industry.Individual needs to possess the leadership, organizational and communication skills appropriate for the position.
    • Individual needs to have strong computer and in budgeting and evaluating the operational and financial aspects of plant performance.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
    • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
    • Must have ability to write and describe operations plans and programs.
    • Needs to be able to make effective presentations on complex topics to staff, top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors as required.

Rosina compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. The annual salary is just one component of Rosina's total compensation package. Other rewards may include incentive compensation bonuses.
