Summary
We are looking for a Plant Manager who will be responsible for leading and developing staff, driving a safe and reliable work environment, and achieving annual and long term operational, financial and infrastructure objectives on site and the glass-mat network. The role will report to the Senior Director of Operations and will work in a matrixed environment to meet all the objectives. The Plant Manager establishes and directs all technical and administrative functions in the plant, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and partners with shared services organizations such as human resources and accounting.
Essential Duties

* Lead organizational planning and career development initiatives on site. Provide the team with coaching and mentoring to help the team members achieve their full potential.
* Provides appropriate leadership, resources and processes to ensure robust plant operations.
* Create a productive atmosphere that encourages positive reinforcement, open communications, employee engagement and ideas.
* Develop, communicate, and evaluate departmental and individual objectives. Set standards to advance initiatives and growth opportunities for the team.
* Drive results for safety, quality, operational/OEE, maintenance reliability, process improvement and cost. Explore and analyze technical, production, and management disciplines to develop annual budgets and long-term plans.
* Drive financial goals, multi-year capital plans, work schedules, and human resource requirements.
* Partner with the Accounting team to drive all financial metrics and forecasting costs and trends including proper variance analysis. Monitor both month-end and year-end financial closing activities, reviewing and submitting the external auditor's financial report.
* Drive Business Continuity Plan (BCP) initiatives on site. Align with Corporate Procurement & Supply Chain teams as well as local teams to mitigate risk with single sourcing of raw materials as well as achieving target inventories for finished products. Provide direction for local materials management to manage proper inventories, improve costs, provide timely feedback to suppliers and drive supply contracts.

* Bachelor's degree
* 10+ years demonstrated manufacturing experience, preferably in a continuous manufacturing process.
* Strong people leadership and team building skills with a demonstrated track record of leading teams to the achievement of superior results.
* Practical knowledge and experience utilizing world class manufacturing techniques.
* Demonstrated advanced coaching/motivation
* Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
