Plant Manager - The Qualifind Group : Job Details

The QualiFind Group is managing a confidential search for an experienced manufacturing operations professional for the role of Plant Manager at our client's manufacturing site near Hartford, Connecticut.

The Plant Manager will report to a Vice President of Operations located in the southeastern US and will lead a staff of four direct reports. He / she will be accountable for the hands-on operational management of a small 35-employee facility. Qualified candidates for this role will have prior hands-on experience in manufacturing operations that evolved through various functional roles such as engineering, supply chain, lean implementation, operations or other areas.

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply critical thinking skills in collaboration with our client's off-site executive leadership team. The goal is to foster a more metric-driven and safety-conscious culture, and to play a key role in supporting corporate initiatives to grow from a $30M production site to north of $70M over the next two to three years.

Candidates for this role must have a minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a management role such as Plant or Site Manager. Experience with metal fabrication is highly preferred.
