Job Title: Plant ManagerLocation: Columbus, OHSalary: $180-210K plus bonusJob Summary: The Plant Director is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, including production and manufacturing, while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Safety is a core value and it is the responsibility of the Plant Manager to reinforce this value and reduce product and process variability.Qualifications:• 10+ years of experience in a Plant or Operations Management role• Industry background in aseptic filling, dairy manufacturing, Tetra Pak Machinery, or equivalent combination of education and experience• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably a B.S. in Food Science, Engineering, or Management• 3+ years of experience in Aseptic processing• Dairy or beverage manufacturing experience• Tetra Pak machinery experience• Prior multi-site oversight experience• Plant start-up experience or Acquisition experience a plus• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management• Excellent problem-solving and reasoning skills• Ability to analyze downtime and financial variance trends, identifying actions to deliver expected performance• Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and metrics• Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching, team building, and training• Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the company• Excellent time management, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelResponsibilities:Provide overall leadership, direction, and coordination for plant operations, including multi-siteEnsure compliance with plant and corporate procedures, as well as customer and regulatory regulationsCoach and develop plant staff to achieve KPIs focused on safety, quality, customer service, and productivityEnsure a safe and healthy workplace for all employeesAdhere to safe work practices and safety policies and proceduresMaintain sanitary conditions and ensure product qualityResponsible for food safety and food qualityPlan and supervise capital projectsDevelop and implement financial and non-financial objectivesIdentify and implement strategies to improve performance and exceed KPIsMonitor operations and identify and correct bottlenecksIncrease production asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs
