Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant field.
  • 5 years management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multiwall field.
  • 5 years experience supporting and leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • 5 years demonstrated ability to create, develop, and lead teams.
  • Preferred ability to speak in Spanish.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, vendors, and customers - responsible for all plant safety programs.
  • Lead and mentor Production Manager and Plant Supervisors and other leaders within the facility to improve safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations.
  • Aid internal departments to identify issues affecting safety, efficiency, productivity, food safety, and overall quality of product.
  • Partners, leads, and supports projects and initiatives implemented by the technical team and the continuous improvement leader.
  • Assist in setting annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets.
  • Assist in solving internal and external complaints related to quality, including raw materials.
  • Responsible for developing and monitoring facility production budget.
  • Set production standards and review production results. Drives standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices.
  • Ensures timely completion of preventative maintenance, action items from internal and external audits, continuous improvement projects, and safety initiatives.
  • Member of the CAPA team.
  • Ensures all employees, visitors, vendors, etc., participate and are responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laid forth in the Food Safety and Quality Manual.
  • Supports SQF Practitioner and responsible for Safe Quality Food (SQF) compliance and partners with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on SQF compliance concerns.
Job Details:
  • $43.10-73.04/hr depending on experience in relevant field (this will be a salaried role)
