Schedule: Monday - Friday, after hours as needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Plant Manager is responsible for managing operations, maintenance, and repair of gas processing plant(s) to obtain optimum processing within safety, environmental and economic guidelines and, to maintain and optimize economic utilization of manpower and equipment.
Supervises and manages plant and operations personnel in performing their job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Manage day to day plant operations to meet required product and monitor operating data to minimize downtime.
Ensure environmental and safety standards are maintained, including keeping track of equipment in need of maintenance.
Maintain product specifications on NGL/Residue outlet the plants and target recovery rates
Supervises all emergency response activities and decisions relative to the safety of the plant.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and other company guidelines and policies. Ensures compliance with PSM regulation
Stay engaged with the MOC process
Serves as resource for troubleshooting plant operations issues and problem solving.
Ensures all departmental manuals and SOPS are updated and kept current.
Manage employees in performing their job duties in a safe and efficient manner, including creating a positive culture among the team and holding employees accountable.
Keep Director of Plant Operations informed of any operational, personnel, or scheduling issues
All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High school Diploma or equivalent required
5-10+ years of industry experience required
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office
Understanding of plant liquids, liquid stabilizer, and stabilized product
Maintains regular & reliable attendance.
Occasional travel between locations will be required
Working Conditions:
Will be working in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Will work outdoors in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
Will be required to frequently drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.
Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis.
Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
