Job Description :

Responsible for all aspects of the plant's performance. Each month planned capacity and expected GP are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate critical thinking; Looks at the entire picture, can understand and appreciate varying perspectives, identifies root causes, formulates and suggests sustainable solutions.
  • Mentor and train supervisors; Empower employees and identify high potential individuals; establish a career progression plan.
  • Observe, analyze, and make decisions regarding the efficient allocation of resources with respect to material, manpower and profitability.
  • Evaluate existing standards, processes and procedures to facilitate and improve overall efficiency and profitability of manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships.
  • Ability to manage and deliver against several initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to consistently deliver a set of products that follow industry and company standards and best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize effectively, make decisions, and solve problems while working under pressure.
  • Demonstrate shared values and leadership style consistent with company values; dedicated to innovation, strong business ethics, diversity, quality, and customer focused service.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations by producing quality products and shipping them to arrive on time.
  • Drive execution of the plant production schedule and provide daily/weekly guidance to ensure success

Hold supervisors and leads accountable for daily schedule due dates, both internal and external.

  • Clearly communicate priorities and establish procedures/processes to ensure unity of efforts to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees.
  • Organize factory in a manner to accomplish jobs as effective and efficiently as possible.

Continually assess production flow and make required changes based on product mix and personnel to maximize efficiency

Hold supervisors and leads accountable for department output and efficiency.

Manage materials:

Reviewing weekly counts and ensure high lead time materials are monitored by department leads and supervisors so replacement stock orders are handled proactively.

Validate usage is in line with work output based on mix.

Work with plant controller to ensure accuracy of financials.

Reconciliation of financials against expected GP.

Materials, supplies and reclass reconciliation.

  • Ensure plant has all required resources to accomplish tasks.
  • Promote factory cleanliness and organization.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations on direct reports.

Job Specifications:

Education: Applicable Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Minimum 10 yrs manufacturing and management experience required.

ERP/MRP experience is desired.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
