Our dedicated team is the backbone of our exceptional customer service, and we pride ourselves on creating a teamwork-driven environment where employees can thrive.A Day in the Life of a Plant Manager:As a Plant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our newest facility. Your responsibilities will include:- Safely managing day-to-day operations and encouraging continuous improvement among your team.- Implementing company standards to ensure product quality meets and exceeds customer expectations.- Coordinating production goals and establishing operational objectives for timely deliveries.- Hiring and training local personnel to build effective teams.- Managing inventory through our ERP system to ensure sufficient supplies for daily activities.- Maintaining clear communication with our main branch and addressing any issues proactively.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Safety & Quality Incidents- Labor Rate Trends- On Time Shipping- Inventory Accuracy- EfficiencyQualifications- 3+ years of experience in a similar leadership role- Knowledge of manufacturing and warehousing processes- Strong computer skills (excel, email, ERP systems)- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly- Good basic math skills and willingness to perform physical labor- Proven leadership abilities- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Strong time management and prioritization skills- Adaptable to a fast-paced environmentWork Schedule- Standard operating hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM standard warehouse hoursLocation:Laporte, IN (46350)Applicants are advised that a comprehensive background check and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.
