Position Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to oversee TAMIU plant operations in Laredo TX. This role will be based in Laredo TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant's performance, including production, quality control, maintenance, safety, and contractor management.Character Requirements: Integrity: being above board in all internal & external relationshipsDecisiveness: can sort through information and make appropriate and timely decisionsInitiative: recognizes opportunity and action without being askedDiligence: energized by being diligent in meeting deadlines and completing tasks on timeThoroughness: pays close attention to detail and produces accurate work in a timely fashionResponsibility: Mechanical background (HVAC) and Building Automation System skills and competences to collaborate with a combination of onsite Schneider Electric Energy Manager and other supporting personnel.Position Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are metDevelop and implement strategies to optimize plant efficiency and productivityEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practicesCollaborate with other departments to meet overall company goalsComplete understanding of Plant operation and campus buildings being servedPeriodically assist in evaluating performance of systems for improvement opportunitiesLead, manage, complete and delegate actions to team members or contractorsManage flow of information between Schneider Electric and TAMIU personnel, and ensure effective communication of client goals, objectives, and schedules.
