POSITION SUMMARY The Plant Operator position consists of a wide array of duties and responsibilities associated with fertilizer (chemical) processing in a highly automated production facility. This includes roles for all operation functions associated with liquid fertilizer production/ handling and associated maintenance, quality control, safety, documentation and general labor. On the job training to be provided.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate mixing/blending equipment using computer controls.
• Perform essential tasks to ensure smooth facility operations, including loading and unloading trucks and railcars
• Lead safety efforts by coordinating and conducting employee trainings.
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Operate machinery including, but not limited to forklift, skidsteer loader, etc.
• Collect and analyze samples to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• English Proficiency
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with individuals within and outside the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet.
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
