DescriptionFall River Health Services is looking for a Plant Operations Supervisor to direct and coordinate activities of workers engaged in maintaining FRHS facility building, equipment, and grounds in proper condition for the benefit of patients, employees and visitors' safety and comfort in accordance with prescribed safety standards and techniques. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises, directs, coordinates and participates in the maintenance services to insure that a safe and clean environment is maintained. Effectively communicate and lead a team and adjust duties to assigned areas as needed.Responsibilities: Provides for facility compliance with applicable laws and CMS regulations. Supervises and monitors the day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the facility and general maintenance activities and requests. Supervises and monitors the upkeep of all existing facilities. Conducts daily monthly, quarterly, and annual PMs. Prioritizes daily task and completes them in a timely manner. Holds safety in high regard, follows all safety rules for equipment and FRHS operations. Responsible for their own safety by acting in a safe manner at all times and responsible for the safety of co-workers and team members by calling out un-safe behavior on the spot. Cultivates a positive team environment at all levels in the warehouse and office Assists the EVS Director in establishing performance objectives and strategic planning for the facility. Participates in regular EVS team huddles, overseeing and ensuring compliance with all FRHS regulations. Supervising direct reports on the skills they need to advance in the company. Accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives in regard to safety, employee safety, cost, productivity, customer service, and profits. Operates facility in compliance with federal, state, CMS, and local statutes. Is involved in all issues regarding regulatory compliance. Must take on 24/7 rotational call schedule. Able to prioritize tasks on a daily basis.RequirementsEducation/Experience/Licensure: High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of maintenance experience required with some supervisory experience preferred. Basic knowledge of federal, state, CMS, and local statutes Basic HVAC, plumbing and boiler experience Prior leadership experience preferred Current SD Driver's License (required to be on the facility insurance plan to drive facility vehicles to and from appointments).
