Plant Operations Tech - Wabash General Hospital : Job Details

The Plant Operations Tech is responsible for all electrical and plumbing projects/repairs and general maintenance functions. The Plant Operations Tech must be able to read blueprints, understand the physical layout of the hospital plant and grounds performs preventive maintenance on hospital equipment and systems where applicable. The Plant Operations Tech is responsible for all construction projects by ensuring line drawings are accurate, bids are equally submitted for major construction/remodeling tasks, and initiates and constructs minor construction projects. The Plant Operations Tech must demonstrate a working knowledge of carpentry, refrigeration, plumbing, electricity, and air conditioning. The Plant Operations Tech will monitor preventive maintenance files and ensure scheduled routines are performed on building grounds, various utility systems, servicing, and repairs of equipment.Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 7:30-4:00Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of various hand tools. Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction trades helpful.
• Valid driver's license.
