Plant Operator I - Murray State University : Job Details

Assists in operation of the building automation system and the steam and chilled water equipment in the Universitys central heating and cooling plant. Responsible for assisting in operation of the building automation system and the steam and chilled water equipment in the universitys central heating and cooling plant. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Assisting in the care and operation of the electronic building automation system, centrifugal refrigeration machines, fossil fuel boilers, electrical boilers and their associated machine components. Assisting in water treatment and the inspection, maintenance, and emergency repairs of machinery and equipment. Must keep the plant area clean and in an orderly manner, and perform other related duties as assigned by supervision. Minimum Education Requirements High school graduate or equivalent.
