Plant Quality Manager - VENTEK Solutions LLC : Job Details

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, as a Plant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and control of the plant's quality management system (QMS) within the plant.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing development and maintenance of the QMS.
• Develop, coordinate, support, train, assist, and facilitate within all attributes of the QMS.
• Point of contact for all customer issues, lead corrective actions, and ensure Ventek meets all customer requirements.
• Responsible for the Advanced Product Quality Planning Process (APQP)
• Lead the continuous improvement program.
• Reduce variation within work tasks to improve process efficiency and quality.
• Managing the specification, test methods, instructions, and audit processes.
• Ensure quality records are maintained.
• Develops best practices for each operation within the plant and train across all shifts as required.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have a four-year degree, preferably in the sciences or engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years' experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred
• Fluent in using Microsoft Office products
• Interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis of building positive working relationships within the company
• Ability to travel as needed (10%)
• Ability to support the operations during non-business hours
