Job Type: Full Time, Hourly

Pay Range: $21/hour plus shift differentialShift(s) Available: 2nd Shift 4:00pm - 2:00am, Mon-Fri. Plant Utility is expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned.Job Description:You can expect to be assigned to one of the following departments: Blend or WarehouseYou should be available to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as required. The shift schedules include 8- or 10-hour shiftsPerform tasks, including but not limited to:General housekeeping which can consist of clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, oiling, greasing, lubrication, sample retrieval, power washingMaterial handling by utilizing moving or motorized equipment - fork truckMiscellaneous duties as needed or required to meet specific department and production needsLoad, unload trucksAccurately complete loading and product shipment paperworkYou will be expected to show an ability to learn functions outside of the general laborer duties to help fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies in other roles (i.e. job classifications within the facility)Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture by possessing a safe working attitude, be an active participant in safety programs, learn and follow written rules and procedures, and produce accurate documentationPromotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesJob Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentForklift Operation experienceKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within an industrial environment is helpfulAbility to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobAbility to perform duties unsupervisedYou should have regular, prompt attendanceFlexibility to change daily tasks as plant needs arisePossess a positive attitude and can bring new ideas to improving the facilitiesExcellent mechanical, troubleshooting, reasoning and problem-solving aptitudeAble to work independently, in a team, maintain a positive and respectful attitude, and be able to perform tasks in a timely mannerAble to utilize independent judgment to tackle problems, have excellent organizational skills, and strive for continuous improvementBasic computer knowledge and general math comprehensionOn-The-Job Training Requirements:New colleagues will need to undergo on-the-job training to acquire skills and certifications, which will be assessed according to established standardsComplete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental trainingParticipate in company planner operations trainingEquipment training may include but not limited to JLP, Forklift, Non-DOT Truck, Reach Lift, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
