Job TitlePlant WM | Extrusion Utility | PM Swing ShiftPosition OverviewPosition Objective:To manage department yarn waste, packing supplies, recycling material, and to expedite loading and unloading of all these materials and Lean all needed areas.Essential Duties (considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility):+ As needed, replace waste containers when they are full.+ Keep waste buggies, boxes, and trash cans placed neatly in the staging area. Weigh full waste containers.+ A. After being weighed, full waste containers are to be taken to the baling area and baled.+ Record machine waste totals on the waste form located at the scale.+ Make sure all paperwork is completed and turned in to the supervisor before shift change.+ Communicate with oncoming utility operator any problems experienced during the shift.+ Waste Utility is responsible for providing line Operators with daily supplies. Such as: tubes, dividers (dividers new and used), trays, utility will resupply above items as needed.+ Utility Operator is responsible for disposing of trash into the dumpster.+ Utility will keep the machine and assigned work area(s) clean.+ Utility Operators must pass the Lift Truck Certification exam annually and operate lift trucks.+ All other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.+ Load and unload trucks as needed (Raw materials, supplies, etc.).+ Operate scrubber and vacuum for cleaning purposes.+ Must be able to follow verbal work instructions and accomplish assigned tasks with little direct supervision.+ Assist shipping/receiving as needed+ Able to operate baler.+ Able to separate cardboard waste into separate categories.+ Moving full waste containers from behind the Neumag lines to baler, trailer or staging areas.+ Keeping Neumag Production floor clear of waste.+ Keep polymer waste streams separate products (waste, Tio2, odd lot and Q1) separated.+ Check the tube recycling bins and bale the contents using the baler. This includes recycling bin from third floor operators. Third floor operator will place a buggy on the elevator for utility. Buggy is to be picked up with a hyster and taken to a dumpster outside of Annex.+ Utilities will follow Task List and also perform any other duties assigned by Shift Lead or Supervisors.+ PALLET JACK used.Physical Requirements:+ Ability to sit, stand, or walk for eight (8) to twelve (12) hours.+ Ability to bend, stoop, squat, lift, carry and reach occasionally.+ Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds frequently.
