Plastics Fabricator (Swing Shift) - Ichor Systems : Job Details

Overview

Position Profile Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned:

• The Plastic Fabricator is responsible for precise Plastic Fabrication of custom parts and/or components using customer and/or engineering supplied drawings and other work instruction for specific parts.
• Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through manual fabrication.
• Collaborate with machinists throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project.
• Must be willing to use hot air welding gun and Plastic Fabrication tools and procedures to connect plastic components.
• Must be able to position clamps and/or fixtures onto components for fabrication.
• Ability to understand and execute the proper order of operations.
• Must pay close attention to details on drawings. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
• Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must have expertise in measuring components with height gauges and calipers.
