Platform Engineer - Agility Partners : Job Details

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Platform Engineer to fill an open position with one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to build and maintain robust infrastructure, enabling scalable and high-performance systems. You'll work on impactful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage the latest technologies to drive success.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain platform uptime, performance, stability, and scalability.

• Design, mentor, and guide system architecture and design.

• Develop and maintain a public API and robust, extensible solutions.

• Collaborate with teams on big data technologies, automation, and monitoring solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience in software and systems development.

• Possesses a strong software development background and experience building systems.

• Is proficient in at least one language such as PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Elixir, or Go.

• Has a strong background in Linux administration.

• Is experienced with cloud providers like AWS, Digital Ocean, or Google Cloud.

• Understands IT security best practices and network administration.

• Has experience with automation tools (Puppet, Ansible) and/or orchestration software (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
