PLC Technician - Insight Global : Job Details

Position: PLC Technician

Location: New Castle, IN 47362

Shifts Available:

• B: 2pm-10:30pm – 2 openings
• C shift: 10pm-6:30am – 2 openings

Salary: 75-90k *with paid overtime, yearly bonus, $80 attendance bonus *

• Will be working quite a bit of overtime while they staff this team back up

Interview Process: one and done onsite

Must Haves:

• PLC Experience
• Ladder Logic

Plusses:

• Associates or bachelor's degree
• HMI Experience
• Allen Bradley (preferred) or Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens
• Keyence Cameras and scanners

Day to Day:

• Work as a collaborative team member on engineering projects
• Troubleshoot, repair, and implement C/M(s) for electrical issues.
• Support daily production by troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Recommend/implement efficiency improvements.
• Support investigations for NG product built/shipped.
• Ensure equipment compliance with safety regulations/standards.
• Execute action items to support business plan goals.
• Provide project progress reports to management.
• Administer performance reviews.
• Support 5S activities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision on routine activities
• All other duties as assigned.
