Job Description

Performs various plumbing assignments including installations, repairs and pipe replacements, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems throughout the hospital.

Job Responsibility

* * Installs, maintains and replaces water, gas, steam, air, waste and vent, drainage and vacuum systems.

* * Provides guidance and instructions to Plumber B and other personnel assigned to projects.

* * Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests.

* * Serves as a member of Fire Response Team.

* * Assists contractors in shutdown of services and utility systems.

* Performs related duties as required.

* ADA Essential Functions

Job Qualification

* High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

* Previous plumbing experience, required.

* Ability to utilize portable and stationary power tools of the trade and read blueprints.

* Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
