Job DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform installation of plumbing systems
- Inspect previously installed plumbing systems
- Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
- Answer calls for plumbing issues from general maintenance request at all times
- Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems
- Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
- Communicate well with team members and fellow employees
- Manage a work log/WMS
- Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
- Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to supervisor
- All other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Gaming License.
- Must possess valid Driver's License
- Must be able to operate a PC
- Pipefitting/welding experience a plus
EDUCATION:
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid plumber's license.
- Three or more years of trade experience as a plumber or plumber's apprentice

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting, reaching, climbing steps, and sitting are required.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 90 pounds.
- Must be able to climb ladders or crawl through tight spaces in high or low areas while carrying approximately 30 pounds of tools or equipment.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout the shops, casino and hotel areas.
- Must be able to reach below and above the shoulders, bend, stoop, crouch and kneel.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must exhibit the dexterity skills to include constant reaching, handling, working with fingers, and hand coordination.
- Must be able to tolerate tight spaces in high or low areas, tolerate dust, chemicals or fumes, work in a smoke-filled environment and tolerate loud noises and bright lights.
- Must be capable of working indoors or outdoors during all seasons, including unusually hot, cold, smoky, and/or dimly lit areas.
