• - Performs maintenance and repair of plumbing tasks from blueprints, sketches and written or verbal instructions, such as:
  • Installation of new and repair/replacement of plumbing fixtures, piping systems, valves and sanitary drain systems.
  • Maintaining communications with building administrators and supervisors.
  • Establishing preventative maintenance programs for restroom fixtures, controls, pressurize vessels, gutters and the repair and replacement of related equipment.
  • Responding to after hour service calls.
  • Maintenance and repair of boiler equipment.
• Work will be performed according to the prescribed standards and technical procedures.
• Other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in plumbing.
• Requires a valid Virginia Driver's License and favorable driving record.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, lift 75 pounds, and work in extreme climates/temperatures.
