Also may involve assisting other trade workers in installation, maintenance, or repair. Identifies and provides quality customer services, also helps to provide quality support services to Larned State Hospital and Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility in pursuit of their mission.Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Maintain and Repair Plumbing Fixtures for LSH campus* Analyze problem.* Replacement of fixtures.* Gas-fired stoves and furnaces.* Repair/remove/replace faulty components.* Complete campus-wide PM's as assigned.* Work independently on routine tasks.* Assist Plumber Sr. in accomplishing tasks.* Assist Plumber Sr. in performing exercise of all area valves - via preventative maintenance.Maintain and Repair Sewage Collection System and Water Distribution System for LSH Campus* Clean sewer lines and manholes.* Repair sewer pump station.* Repair water mains, hydrants, and valves.* Repair hot water tanks, lines, and valves.Maintain and Repair Steam System for LSH Campus* Repair valves, regulators, traps and controls.* Repair radiators and other steam equipment.* Analyze tasks.* Repair/replace/remove faulty components.* Improve existing installations.Miscellaneous Duties* Repair dietary equipment: furnaces, stoves, etc.* Steel fabrication/repair of security screens, gates, fences, desks, etc.* Work on rotating weekends.* Assist Plumber Sr.* Subject to callback, standby, irregular hours and scheduled weekend duty.Training (Comply with 2 or more of the following 4 licenses/certifications)* Backflow Testing Certification* Large Gas Systems Operator's License* Asbestos Accreditation* Class 1 Water Supply System LicenseQualifications* Education:* State any additional qualifications for this position that are necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
