UNITED TRADES OF AMERICA is seeking highly skilled and experienced Licensed Plumbers to join our team. As a licensed Plumber you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure plumbing systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and regulations.
JOB Location: Huntsville, Alabama LOCALS ONLY
Pay Range: Based on Experience
MUST be licensed in Alabama or a reciprocating state
Approximate Hours working: approximately 40-60 per week
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute plumbing installations and repairs.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, encompassing pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings, adhering to local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to seamlessly integrate plumbing systems into overall building plans.
- Perform comprehensive inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues, diagnose problems, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
- Install and maintain water supply lines, sewage systems, and drainage systems with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing of plumbing systems to detect leaks and ensure optimal functionality, making adjustments as required.
- Coordinate efforts with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to achieve harmonious project execution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to plumbing systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of work performed, materials utilized, and time expended on each project.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in plumbing technology and techniques through continuous learning.
