GET TO KNOW THIS APPRENTICESHIPYour day starts at 7:30 AM and wraps up by 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours work for emergencies. You'll start at our Poughkeepsie location and head to various job sites across Dutchess County, NY.As a full- or part-time HVAC and Plumbing Apprentice at Lambert Plumbing and Heating, you start your day at our Poughkeepsie hub, then head out with our experienced techs to job sites all over Dutchess County. In this apprenticeship, you assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and HVAC systems, all while making sure the truck is stocked, organized, and spotless. Every day is packed with learning opportunities-from helping with complex repairs to ensuring customers receive 5-star service. Some days, you might even assist with emergency calls for that extra hands-on experience. Every day brings something new, bringing you one step closer to mastering the trade!Minimum requirements:
- Clean driver's license (licensed for 3 years or more)
- OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
Bonus points for:
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or related trades
- EPA 608 certification
- Having your own trade-related tools
