We've partnered with an award-winning consulting practice in Houston, TX, established almost 50 years ago. They have won over 200 awards for their unique design choices and effectiveness.

They are looking for a License Plumbing Designer to join their team in Houston. The Plumbing Designer will be focusing on large commercial projects within K-12. These projects will consist of waste systems as well as cold and hot water distribution systems.

Duties:

  • Responsible for QA/QC construction documents
  • Must provide design ideas and train less experienced designers
  • Review and oversee HVAC systems and plumbing models
  • Organize REVIT models for multiple projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Organize and produce equipment schedules
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external clients

    • Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Fluent in AutoCAD & REVIT
  • Active PE License
  • Certified Plumbing Designer
  • Experience working on K-12 projects
