Job Title: Project Manager Location: Raleigh, NC (27601) Duration: 36 Months+ (Possible Extension) *This role is remote, with some field work. There is a possibility for 1-2 meetings a month in office, but the worker will not be expected to go to an office on a regular basis.* Job Description: Skills req: • Good communication skills • Organized • Project management skills • General understand of contracts and legal agreements The Project Manager 0 assists Outdoor Lighting leadership with assigned aspects of the outdoor lighting product line. The PM-0 has responsibility for executing assigned initiatives identified by Outdoor Lighting leadership and facilitating the expected results to increase profitability and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for supporting execution of products and services to enhance the profitability of the outdoor lighting business line. This position is the jurisdictional expert in outdoor lighting products and services and their respective materials, processes, pricing, specifications and any other outdoor lighting business lines that are added to increase profitability. This is the entry level of the Project Management Specialist classification hierarchy. Employees at this entry level assist with lighting products and services with general supervision. Employees are expected to develop skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. This position typically will be working across functional teams, external customers, and with leadership. Description: This position is typically retained to manage multiple White projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of project management experience. 2 year degree. Demonstrated knowledge of basic project management principles. Project related work school experience; Demonstrated to Working Knowledge in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Collaborative Team Member. Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university. Utility Technical Certifications Training or PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates. Demonstrated to Working knowledge in project related Scheduling Cost Controls. The Project Management Specialist may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to senior department management).
