This internship provides hands-on experience in managing new hotel developments, property transitions, acquisitions, sustainability initiatives, Property Improvement Plans (PIPs), and asset facilities management. The role offers a comprehensive look at the strategies and operations driving growth and efficiency in the hospitality industry.Key Responsibilities:
- New Builds Support: Assist in tracking and managing timelines for new hotel developments, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Hotel Transitions & Acquisitions: Collaborate on transition plans for newly acquired properties, supporting integration into PM Hotel Group's portfolio.
- Sustainability & Energy Initiatives: Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability projects, researching best practices and monitoring progress on green initiatives.
- PIP Assistance: Support the planning and execution of Property Improvement Plans, including vendor coordination, budget tracking, and reporting.
- Asset Facilities Management: Assist in evaluating and optimizing hotel facilities, ensuring compliance with brand standards and operational excellence.
- Market & Industry Research: Conduct research to inform decision-making on acquisitions, transitions, and sustainability opportunities.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and updates on projects, offering insights and recommendations.Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Hospitality, Real Estate, Business, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with project management or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and the hospitality industry.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.What You'll Gain:
