Role: Policy Governance ManagerLocation: NYC (100% Remote in EST time zone)Position Type: 4+ months with high possibility of extension/ConversionPayrange: $75 - $82/hr on W2Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Advisory and Strategy: Provide guidance to 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense regarding Policy requirements, interpretations, and compliance.
- Policy Development: Provide strategic input into the development and enhancement of all WCR Policy, Standards, and Procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and simplification. Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in the compliance and reviews of Policy and all related documents.
- Policy Implementation and Enforcement: Engage with Businesses and Global Functions to track and influence the implementation of WCR Policy requirements.
- Regulatory Engagement: Lead and participate in all regulatory engagement on WCR Policy and related documents.
- Communication: Coordinate with key stakeholders to roll-out timely communications, trainings, newsletters, etc.
- Development Value: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a significant transformation effort for Client with active engagement across multiple business lines. The candidate will have organizational exposure to senior management across Client.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Policy development and governance
- Wholesale Credit Risk or related Risk Management experience a plus (not required)
- Excellent written, and verbal skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
- Ability to perform independently, organized, and flexible
- Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; an advanced degree is a plus (not required)
Additional Requirements:
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and formulas is essential.
- Advanced PowerPoint Skills: Ability to create compelling and informative presentations.
- Hands-on Approach: A willingness to dive deep into policy documents and data analysis.
- ERM System Knowledge: Familiarity with ERM systems and their functionalities.
