The ARCHES Project for Polk County Rapid Rehousing would like a Case Manager to join their team! This position will be responsible for providing case management and rental assistance to chronically homeless individuals and families in Polk or Marion County through Community Action's Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) program. This includes eligibility screening, program enrollment, and participant follow-ups and check-ins. Case Managers will also be responsible for processing required paperwork, data entry and other general program supports. This position will directly align with the Housing First initiatives of the ARCHES Project.Candidates must submit their application by 11/11/2024 in order to be considered for first round interviews.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEA High School Diploma or GED.Two years of related social service experience; or anEquivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Ideal candidates will possess two or more years of homeless service delivery experience.Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of/or experience with: the principles of coordinated assessment, working with unsheltered or vulnerable populations, as well as best practices in homeless service delivery. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSDriver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license, insured vehicle available for use on the job, and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required.Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESIdeal candidates will possess two or more years of homeless service delivery experience.Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of/or experience with: the principles of coordinated assessment, working with unsheltered or vulnerable populations, as well as best practices in homeless service delivery.Basic proficiencies in computers, MS Office products, and database software and web tools.Must possess excellent planning, organization and time management skills.Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
