Salary: $120.00 DailyLocation : Lancaster, SCJob Type: PART TIMEDepartment: Voter RegistrationOpening Date: 04/20/2023Examples of Duties What you willbe required to do:- Arrive at the polls on time - Process Voters- Issue ballots to Voters - Answering questions that Voters may have- Conducting the election in compliance with South Carolina Election laws- Operating voting machines Typical Qualifications To qualify as a poll manager you must be registered to vote or be at least 16. You must also be able to commit to training, working the entire election day, and remaining non-partisan and neutral while working an election. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER What you should know:- The polls open at 7:00 am and as a poll manager you will be expected to stay until the poll closes at 7:00 pm.- In order to work you must taking a training that will prepare you for election day and answer any questions that you may have about what to do and how.
