About the Role
This role is an exciting milestone for the team, we are looking for our first Marketing Director to oversee and manage our Marketing operations and to provide leadership to our existing team. The brand is about to embark on a growth trajectory, and Natalie is looking for a strategic marketing partner to entrust with the brand's marketing efforts.

The Opportunity- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the brand's vision and growth objectives.
- Building and leading a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. We currently have a team of 4 individuals looking after social media, content creation, email marketing, and graphic design.
- Enhancing and maintaining the brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Oversee, coordinate, produce and manage all content creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and influencer partnerships.
- Leading the creative direction for all marketing materials, including photoshoots, videos, graphics, and written content.
- Planning and producing photoshoots that capture our brand, managing everything from concept development to execution, planning and booking locations, hiring talent, coordinating with photographers & other creatives, and overseeing styling.
- Conducting market research to identify new trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Managing the marketing budget, and allocating resources effectively to maximize our ROI.
- Monitoring and analyzing the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports to the senior leadership team and making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and growth.
What You Bring to the Table- You are a well-rounded marketer from the fashion or consumer products space with leadership experience (leading both strategy and people).
- You have a genuine passion for fashion and consumer products, with a keen eye for trends and aesthetics.
- You possess strong creative and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to develop compelling marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- You are experienced in managing and producing photoshoots and other creative outlets for product photography; ensuring high-quality visual content that aligns with brand standards.
- You have demonstrated experience in building and leading successful marketing teams.
- You have a deep understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and emerging marketing technologies.
- You have strong analytical skills and can translate data into actionable insights.
- You're a collaborative team player who can brainstorm with others.
- You're flexible and can adapt to changing priorities on the go.

Location- We are a fully remote team across North America.
- Due to the nature of the opportunity, elements of this role will require a mixture of remote and in-person work. There may be occasional domestic and international travel in the future for photoshoots, events, and team retreats.
Compensation & Total Rewards- Annual Base Salary ranges from $130,000 - $180,000 USD**
- 3 weeks of paid vacation per year

- $1,000 CAD annual allowance towards Poppy & Peonies product
- $400 CAD home office setup allowance
**We understand that this is a wide compensation range. As this is the first Marketing Director to join our team, this range is to allow us to consider different levels of experience.
