Porter Janitor - M&R Management Co : Job Details

We are seeking a full-time building maintenance Porter to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.Responsibilities:

• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and apartments
• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
• Snow and ice removal
• Knowledge of NYC recycling laws

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
• Ability to handle physical workload; lift 50+ lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Working experience with buffing/floor machines
• Working experience with automatic compactor machines

Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
