Porter - DelShah Capital, LLC : Job Details

Must be available for Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7am-10pm.

Current hours are not permanent and flexibility and availability in applicant schedule is required based on operational and seasonal needs of the building.

Porter Job Summary:

The porter will assist in keeping the building clean and neat, and operating in a safe manner that meets building and company standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a clear area for compactor room
• Remove trash, collect recycling, and clean trash rooms on each floor (20 floors)
• Pick up trash in the building and around the building perimeter
• Performs light maintenance and services throughout assigned property
• Seasonally: Distribute salt on sidewalks around the building, remove snow, lay out and collect rain matts as needed
• Dust, mop, vacuum, power wash and clean : Trash rooms, cellar floors, compactor room and maintenance rooms, exterior of building including staircases, sidewalks, terraces, patios, and grills.
• Maintain any building keys in possession and return to the proper lock location.
• Assist in moving furniture/building equipment for seasonal, tenant trash removal, or event purposes
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: .

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Prior experience operating and cleaning a compactor.
• Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient.
• Flexible schedule to stay late/come in early as needed if shift members are running late/call out sick.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Education and Experience:

• At least one year of exceptional cleaning/custodial skills working in the field of residential properties, retail, and hospitality.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, carrying heavy items.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at times.
